I bought myself a early christmas present - Benefit Sexy Little Stoyaways

I ive not been feeling great reacently and it was payday so i decided to treat myself to a little bit of everything from Benefit :)
I first heard about this when Fee from Makeup Savvy did her Christmas Beauty Gifts post and i have been lusting after it since.

Image from Bloomingdale's as i couldn't be bothered talking a photo with my shite camera.
It contains:
It's potent! Eye Cream 3g
Bad Gal Lash 4g
Stay Don't Stray 2.5ml
Ooh La Lift 2.5ml
Chacha Tint 2.5ml
Sun Beam 2.5ml
The Porefessional 7.5ml
Hoola 3g
Bella Bamba 3g
"That Gal" 7.5ml

This all for £25 from Boots.
I especially cant wait to try the It's Potent Eye Cream and "That Gal". I'm also thinking that Hoola might be quite good for contouring? Whats your thoughts about it?
Im quite happt i have two mini Sun Beams now as i got the free In Style one last week.
I use the They're Real Mascara on days im not using L'Oreal telescopic or for a night out so im hoping Bad Gal lash will live up to it.

Short post today but im really not that well (forgot to take my medication this morning) haha

Anyone else buying themselves christmas presents this week?

New favourite eyeshadow - Bourjois Little Rund Pot Intense

Now i am completely AMAZED by this eyeshadow. Its from the Bourjois Paris Little round pot Intense range in rose sable (03). Available from Boots for £6.99 I think i will go as far as to say this is favourite eyeshadow i own.
I think when i saw it in boots the little girl that still wants to be a princess in my went in to a frenzy of "PINK!!! GLITTER!!! SPARKLE!!!" It was a little scary to behold and Marcus (the fiance) almost ran away.

Don't ya just love the little pots? They are so cute and hold so much product and you get a helpful wee mirror in them.

How beautiful is that!! I don't even know what to say as i think everyone will have tried these little pots and I'm a little tongue tied in awe of the pretty-ness.
The pigmentation is great and is easily built up, they blend well and the sparkles don't fall down your face throughout the day.

This picture is a bit deceiving as to the quality of colour as only the sparkle is picked up but the pic colour really comes through in the perfect non tacky way.  I am so happy with this and the amount you get for the price and quality is awesome.

It was my birthday yesterday and i was really ill at night so i was a bit shit. BUT Marcus had given me a great present earlier from Aron Aromatics Just Grapefruit range so i was well happy sitting with the avengers on :D

I will probs review that later because it is such good quality.

Dr. Jart+ BB Beauty Balm

So in the winter  months i really dont like the feel of heavy make-up on my face which i know is a bit reverse from most people but im a little weird. This has sent me in the search of a new bb cream, something with a little more coverage than my trusty No.7 tinted moisturiser (which is my usual go to low coverage) and it led me to Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm.
They now do it in various types - Regenerating, Water Fuse, Premium, Platinum. I got it in Water Fuse as i thought it would be best for my younger skin and its oil-free so will help with my oily skin.

At £18 (Water fuse is the cheapest, the others retail for various prices ) I would have liked to have better packaging. This doesn't excite me or inspire confidence in the product.

BB creams that i have tried either go on grey with beads in it or are already the colour you would expect from your foundation. This is an odd mix of the two.
Its very smooth and creamy and blends very easily and unlike some bb creams matches your skin tone perfectly.
Obviously this isnt spread or blended but when it is its perfect. It doesnt go sticky which i know people find an issue with a lot of BB creams and it dries quite matte. Althought i still put a dusting of MAC Prep+Prime over after to seal it and help with oil control.
I wore this last night before going out to dinner for my birthday with my Mum and Fiance and it lasted well the whole time it got a little oily after about 3 hours (which for my skin is really good) but a shine paper sorted it out. It made my skin glow and looked flawless. My only concern was that i looked a little bright in photographs but it wasn't so bad you have to avoid flashes. I like to thin k of it as radiating light. haha

Ive also just aquired a new Bourjois eyeshadow which im inlove with and a Stilla convertable colour (my first). Ill right about them soon.

How much is my face worth?

So I've been so excited to do one of these posts after seeing so many of them. I'm also terrified about what the outcome will be haha. I always find it interesting how surprised by the final price people are and to be honest i don't think ill be any different.
Also can i apologise for the abundance of photos, i got a little carried away.

So before i start i want to put a warning out there, please don't get freaked out my what i use as a primer. haha. Its honestly the best thing I've ever came across for oily skin because of its staying power and drying like a powder. (p.s loads of people actually use it)

1. monistat chafing relief powder-gel - £5.85 for 42g from amazon
It just holds by make-up in place all day and covers and fills every bump and line in my face, its generally my single most cant live without product. Its just a clear gel that glides on perfect and dries matte. It doesn't let my oil get at my makeup for hours either. Will always buy this.

2. L'OrĂ©al Paris Studio Secrets Anti-Redness Primer - £10.29 from boots
This really covers the rosacea on my nose really well. Its great, but i feel it really clings to my pores and emphasises them and looks dreadful so i only use it on top of the monistat. It also stays really green so i would only wear it under makeup. Not sure if id re-purchase this, will prob try something else.

3. No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser - £11.50 - Boots
This is one of my all time favourite things! It goes on so well and gives good coverage for a tinted moisturiser. Its well protected with all its SPF and lasts ages. I use it in Fair/Medium. Will continue to buy for a long time.

4. MAC Studio Finish Concealer - £14.50 - MAC online
Now i have this in NC15 when i should have it in NW15-20 but hey-ho wee all make the occasional mistake when buying things and i find it works pretty well anyway. I use this on blemishes and the like. mostly on my chin. It has great coverage and i love it. Will buy this again but in the correct shade haha.

5. MAC Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder - £19.50 - MAC Online
I use this whenever im putting my makeup on it just holds in all in place and helps soak up any excess oil throughout the day.

4.  L'Oreal Glam Bronze Duo Sun Powder Brunette Harmony - Free 3 of 2 offer - Boots (Rrp £10.29)
Now this is something that i didn't actually pay that price for, it was on a 3 for 2 offer and this was my free purchase. It works fairly well and i use it most days to give me a little colour and with my blush. Would not re-purchase.

5. Elf Studio Cream Blush - £6.50 - E.L.F
I have this in 'Seductress' and apply it with my eco-tools stippling brush and it goes on perfect and blends so well. For only 6.50 this is a great grab.

6.Benefit Lemon aid - £16.50 - Benefit
If i'm honest i don't like this product this much but i've been lazy and not got round to getting a new eye primer yet so its what i use till then.

7. Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 - £36 from debenhams- £30 from Thomson airways
I got this on the plane heading back from holiday for got it duty free and couldn't resist buying it. It is suck an amazing palette, the shimmer and pigmentation are BEAUTIFUL.
I usually use Half Baked, Tease in the crease, Booty call to highlight and a touch of Busted the the outside corner.

8. L'Oreal Super liner Luminizer Eyeliner - £6.49 - Boots
This is quite an interesting liquid eyeliner that comes in 3 different shades for either blue, hazel or green eyes. Now i got this in Brown because it came in a set even though i have blue/grey eyes. Its a great liner with quite a felt like applicator. it dries quick and lasts ages.

9.L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara - £10.99 - Boots
I have this in waterproof black. Its great at separating and lengthening i also think it adds volume well. Its an all round amazing mascara. Oh and its waterproof properties are amazing. i tested this in the shower where i stood under the spray and rubbed my eyes and it didn't budge. I used it on holiday in the pool too and no smudging or flaking. The only time it did flake was when i was in the sea but i guess that's to do with the salt? (and how much i was splashing?)
10. Benefit Brow zings - £22.50 - Benefit
I have this in medium but could maybe do with dark. I really like it but find it a tad difficult to use but it does make my brown look better as i cursed with genetically sparse and thin eyebrows.

Now i usually only wear one of these but i use all 3 of them so often i included them all:p

11. MAC Lustre Lipstick in Plumful - £10 from duty free
This is the perfect colour for me, it lasts ages (especially when used with lipcote) and i use it all the time.

12. L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick - £7.99 - Boots
I have this in a few shades but the one i always use is 103 Sweet Berry. Its my fave lipstick EVER. Its a weird cross of a lipstick and lip balm but with the full colour of lipstick and i love it.

13. Vaseline Limited Edition Pink Bubbly - £3.49 - Selfridges
This is a fairly new purchase but i love it sooo much and its always in my handbag.

So thats what my face costs haha. Shall we get ready to total it up... well my total is  £186.39.

This may come as a surprise but its actually a lot less than i expected haha. Although this is just my everyday makeup and not all the stuff i own.

What did you all get? Do you think you would be more or less? Anyone have any thoughts on these products.

Favourite product ever - No.7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser

Now this is a product that i bought a little while ago and absolutely loved it, used it everyday and then for some reason completely forgot about. But we have been reunited recently and i am so happy. Got a smile the size of Nikki Minajs bum implants.

This tinted moisturiser is for all skin types. Im usually skeptical about thing that say that, how can it suit someone with very dry and very oily skin. Well i have veryyyy oily skin, its terrible and not getting any better, usually my foundation has been mented off my face within a few hours. When i use this and finish with MAC Prep&Prime translusent finishinh powder it doesnt budge all day. Seriously if i put my make-up on at 9am (im a student, we dont get up before then:P) by 6pm it is still perfect and only needs a little touch up before going out at night. So oily skin has the thumbs up. I cant say for dry skin though, i dont think its paticularly moisturising.

I like that this product has "ultra UV-aging protection"which is actually just  UVB SPF15 protection AND 5 star ultra UVA protection. Not that i really need it living here in glasgow but it makes me feel happier to know im protected. Its also helpful if your wanting to take it away on holiday.
It is also Hypo-allergenic so if you have sensitive skin or allergies this would be good for you maybe, ive never had any problems like that so i wont pretend to actually know.

What boots says

"Achieve natural, skin perfecting colour with this sheer, light defusing tinted moisturiser. Created to help your skin look beautiful now and have a more youthful future.
It also contains Hyaluronic acid, to provide 24-hour moisturisation, optical blurrers and vitamin A and E, all in a lightweight creamy texture to leave skin looking and feeling radiant. "

Please note the weird discoloration under the product that looks like streaked foundation is dry skin on my hands after getting a tan on holiday, im not really sure what happened but im hoping it goes soon.

There are 3 shades available: Fair, Fair/Medium, and Medium.
I use the Fair/Medium and it suits perfectly. In MAC i am NW22 if that helps.
The TM feels lovely as it goes on, quite cooling and creamy (i like this as it is unusual for products that work well on oily skin to feel creamy and luxurious) and it spreads and blends perfectly. I use the Eco tools foundation brush to apply it. I love the eco tools brushes. The foundation one is available at boots for £7.99. Incredible value for suck a good brush.

I dont know if you can see how well its blended because of my weird skin thing currently but its just so good :D Im wearing it in the pic below but it looks kinda bad due to the terrible camera on my laptop.

This Tinted moisturiser is available from only boots for £11.50 which is cheaper than it used to be as it was £12 before, theyve also ever so slightly changed the packaging. Boots are also doing a deal just now that is 3 for 2 Mix & Match across selected haircare, hair accessories, indulgent bathing & No7 products - cheapest free.

Love ya.
